These games were built in 1997-1998 to showcase the interactivity of the WebTV platform, exhibiting
the combination of Macromedia Flash, interactive midi and .wav playback, and the WebTV multimedia language extensions. Microsoft immediately approved of Minesweeper once the acquisition was complete.
